Seeds of wickedness
Sown in the drugs you use
Evil spirits hidden
In the substances you abuse
Deception from the enemy
Hidden right under your nose
As you partake in pleasure
The angry demons grow
The devil uses a lie
Recreation as a scheme
Get you hooked on fun and excitement
Get you carried away in a dream
Then one day
Once the evil has comfortably settled in
You are caught in a trap
Addiction is now your friend
A love hate relationship
Always destruction in the end
A broken heart and beaten body
Wounded spirit taken by the wind
Witches spell dark magic potion
Iron feet caught in shameful mire
Now your whole pitiful life
Whittled down to one selfish desire
Where can I get more
How can I get higher
Gone all the fun and excitement
Out of the frying
pan into the fire
The angry demons are never satisfied
Without any legs you try to run
Painfully you search for an answer
To a question that will never yield one
The enemy now has you guarded
Protected in his garden of sin
Only you in full bloom and wickedness
Your drug and desire your only friends
The loneliness of addiction
The devil having his destroying way
Stealing from you your loved ones
Caught in this wicked game you must play
Now you must make a decision
Today it takes a certain choice
Cry out now for your savior
Be quick to listen to His saving voice
Faithfully He will answer
Jesus always delivers from sin
Reach for the hand he gives you
The loving hand of a trusted friend
Say good-bye forever to your addiction
Now you are hand in hand with the son
Cast out those angry demons
In the name of Jesus this is done
Rest now in the arms of your savior
There He will heal your soul
In Him you are victorious
Through Him you will shine as gold
Become His precious vessel

Bearing sweet fruit when they are grown
