DISEASE

Disease
Wake the dead
Blood splattered walls
Stone whips cracking at my head
Lonely bottom
Just got that taste
Serpents tongue
Cracked mirror face
Broken needles
Now it’s a race
A miss and a burn
Total disgrace
Fatally search
Food getting low
My hungry veins hurt
Feed my ambition
My only goal is to keep getting high
Get the wrong measure
Maybe I’ll die
Such a sad whisper
This pitiful song
Caught in a cross fire
That damage is done
Where is my life
Where is my gun
Disease has stolen
Gone all the fun
Painted misery
Beautiful colors that run
Pictures always lie
The painting crooked is hung
Pain is a diamond
Disease the crown jewel can attest
Brilliance feeds my appetite
Pain uncomfortably never rests
Sunshine is always happy
Please smile on my darkness today
Bring me back to comfort and ease
God take this heavy burden away
Lift from me thIs sadness
I’m desperate here on my knees
Praying to you for a miracle
Please God destroy this disease
